We partnered with Stream Foundation Repair to repair and replace the wooden flooring in a home in Lufkin. The husband in the home has had four strokes over the last six years. He is now under Hospice care. The wife lost her job at a local bank about two years ago. Their pastor asked if we could help. The flooring in their 40–year–old pier and beam home had rotted and was falling through in several places. Stream Foundation removed the rotting flooring, releveled the home, replaced some floor joists, added additional floor joists and bracing, and then put down new 3/4–inch treated plywood flooring, topped with another 1/2–inch plywood decking. It was a blessing to be able to help this couple.
