2020 Recap
2020 was an interesting TWELTH year for CHRIST Ministries of Texas. We did not get our usual volume of calls from the Angelina County Adult Services department or local churches which often give our name to people in need. These were our ministry opportunities this year:

• We were contacted early in the year by the Angelina County Adult Services department and did plumbing repairs for an elderly widow in Zavalla.
• We built one wheelchair ramp in Lufkin this year for an elderly couple. The 88–year–old wife was mostly confined to a wheelchair. The elderly husband was having a very difficult time taking his wife to doctor appointments or any travel outside of the home because of the porch steps at the house.
• On two occasions, we partnered with Brookshire Brothers Pharmacy on Chestnut Drive to provide prescription medicines.

We feel that more needs will arise in 2021 as we all return to some normalcy. Currently we are planning to assist with repairs to an older home for a couple in Lufkin. The husband has had four strokes and is dealing with several other serious health issues. A local church pastor contacted CMOT about this situation. We know God will continue to connect us with folks needing our assistance.
